I have always loved to draw. I did not study art in school at first, instead ultimately studying to become a librarian. I received my Master's in Library Science in 2011 and after a brief stint as a children's librarian, I found out the hard way that the librarian field is in decline and it's nearly impossible to move up in if you don't have several years of experience. My first BA is in English and I have always been an avid reader and lover of books.
Due to my love of art, and wanting to focus it in a technological setting, I chose graphic design and began studying at Kentucky Wesleyan College. I completed my BA in Graphic Design in December 2021. I'm currently working as a Program Manager where I am responsible for designing all the graphic design elements of the organization. I would love to find a full-time graphic designer position however.
